Let's see, a trip to Canada minus flight and lodgings. Yes, that should work. Oh this is going brilliantly.

So, I've been trying to figure out where you've been planning to go off to & now I check in & see it is Canada. Where in Canada are you thinking of going? Do tell, please!

I think you'll love Canada, despite the cold, and frankly it will give you the excuse to later try a warm climate - perhaps mine? :)

I'm certain you've heard it all, but US is advertising something callled "Elidil" generic name pimecrolimus in the drug class cytokine inhibitors. It is getting a lot of press here in the US. http://www.rxlist.com/cgi/generic/elidel.htm

Canada's a wonderful country, and you will get there eventually. (I love imagining you among the Canadians! A fire-spirit amongst the naiads. So you have to get there, somehow!)
